Rugby tournament at Academy Sabres

The men’s and women’s teams of the Northeast Philadelphia Rugby Club will host the second annual Philadelphia Tens Rugby Tournament on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Academy Sabres fields, 12401 Academy Road.

Admission is free.

Looking for girls volleyball players

Vogt Recreation Center, 6700 Cottage St. in Tacony, is hosting travel volleyball games for girls age 10–14 on Thursdays through mid-August.

Games are played from 5 to 7 p.m.

The cost is $5 per person. Teams consist of at least eight players.

Ryan wrestling camp

Archbishop Ryan will host a wrestling camp from Aug. 17–21 at the school from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Cost is $80 and the camp welcomes kids in grades K-8. The entire Ryan coaching staff, plus several college wrestlers, will provide instruction for the week.

Fall baseball signups

Liberty Bell is holding signups for fall baseball ages 13 to 15 and 16–18 at Sgt. Pat McDonald Gym, Red Lion and Calera roads. Cost is $100 per player and includes a shirt, hat, game balls and umpire fees. Sign up dates are Aug. 4, 6, 11, 13, 18 and 20 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

St. Hubert lax camp

St. Hubert is hosting a lacrosse camp from Aug. 3–7 from 8:30 a.m. until noon at Russo Park, across the street from the school. It is for girls of all ages.
