Jax is a handsome, 56-pound terrier mix who was found roaming the streets. He is at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. His tag number is A28226228.
The dog likes belly rubs, kisses and treats. He is an excellent leash walker and super friendly.
Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••

Vera is a sweet young lady who is confident and friendly. She loves people and other cats. Vera still yearns for the outside air, so it is recommended that she live with a family who will provide supervised excursions to the patio or yard.
Vera, 2, is spayed and vaccinated, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
