State Rep. Martina White (R-170th dist.) is inviting families in the Northeast to join her for a day of fun and information when she gathers together representatives from city and state government to showcase programs and services available for issues impacting children.
The Kids Fest will take place on Saturday, Aug. 15, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Somerton Youth Organization, 1400 Southampton Road. It will feature free food, games and other activities.
ldquo;This is a great opportunity for parents to learn more about the services available for the health, education and safety of children,” White said. “Representatives from local sports and community groups will also be on hand to show what they can offer kids.”
