Cancer Treatment Centers of America, in partnership with the Philadelphia Youth Network WorkReady program, recently hosted a graduation celebration to honor 25 local students who completed their summer internship at the hospital, 1331 E. Wyoming Ave.
Program participants worked in plant operations, pain management, inpatient nursing, stem cell nursing, oncology clinic, physical therapy, pulmonary, radiology, care management and administration departments.
The ceremony included a panel discussion featuring Bennett Lomax, president and CEO of Lomax Companies; Jeff Ryan, senior vice president of operations and development at CTCA; Stephanie Gambone, executive vice president of Philadelphia Youth Network; and Natalye Paquin, CEO of Girls Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania. ••
