Taylor’s Senior Expo details announced
State Rep. John Taylor (R-177th dist.) will hold his annual Senior Expo on Friday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Cohocksink Recreation Center, at Cedar and Cambria streets.
Among those scheduled to appear will be the Philadelphia Police Department, Philadelphia Gas Works, PECO Energy, Philadelphia Water Department, insurance companies, podiatrists, chiropractors, senior help agencies, medical equipment companies, hospitals and city and state agencies.
Blood pressure and cholesterol tests will be given, and massages will be available.
There will be door prizes.

Resurrection Seniors have two trips
Resurrection Seniors are sponsoring two upcoming trips.
On Wednesday, Oct. 14, the group will go to Bucks County Playhouse to see Rat Pack. The day will also include lunch at Eagle Diner. The bus will leave from Large and Vista streets at 9 a.m. The cost is $130.
On Monday, Dec. 14, the group will travel to Hunterdon Hills Playhouse in Hampton, New Jersey, for dinner and the show Christmas of 2015. A bus will leave from Large and Vista streets at 9 a.m. The cost is $115.

Medicare fraud seminar is Sept. 29
A representative of the state chapter of the Center of Advocacy for the Rights and Interests of the Elderly will discuss Medicare fraud on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 2 p.m. in the social hall of the Philadelphia Protestant Home, 6500 Tabor Ave. in Lawndale.

Weekly bingo games continue in Fox Chase
The Cpl. John Loudenslager American Legion Post 366 has restarted its weekly bingo games at the post hall, 7976 Oxford Ave. in Fox Chase. Proceeds benefit U.S. military veterans.
Games will be held every Friday in September and October at 7 p.m.
In addition, Post 366 will host its annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, Nov. 29, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Admission costs $6 and includes a buffet of pancakes, eggs, sausage, orange juice and coffee. Tickets are available at the door or in advance at the Legion hall. ••
Attention all Korean War veterans
All Korean War veterans from 1950 to the present are welcome to join Chapter 38.
The group meets once a month at the Delaware Valley Veterans Home, 2701 Southampton Road (at Roosevelt Boulevard).
The next meeting is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 27.
