Mayor-elect Jim Kenney will host four town hall meetings around the city during the week of Nov. 30 where he and members of his transition team will greet residents and listen to their thoughts about the future of Philadelphia.
“To move all of Philadelphia forward, we need all Philadelphians to be at the table,” Kenney said. “These town halls will provide an opportunity for community members to speak directly with me and members of our transition team, so that our administration is prepared to meet the challenges and opportunities these Philadelphians face every day.”
The first meeting will be on Monday, Nov. 30, at 6 p.m. at Central High School, 1700 W. Olney Ave. Subsequent meetings will be at South Philadelphia High School, 2101 S. Broad St., on Tuesday, Dec. 1; Mayfair Community Center, 2990 Saint Vincent St., on Thursday, Dec. 3; and Strawberry Mansion High School, 3133 Ridge Ave., on Friday, Dec. 4. The second, third and fourth meetings will start at 7:30 p.m. ••
