Christ the King recognizes 50th anniversary

A student celebration: Students at Christ the King Elementary School, located at Morrell Avenue and Chesterfield Road in Morrell Park, recently recognized the school’s 50th anniversary by forming “CTK 50” in the parking lot. The school opened on Sept. 13, 1965. Today, there are 265 students in preschool through eighth grade. Christ the King has always been staffed by the Sisters of St. Joseph and lay faculty.
