The 2nd Police District Advisory Council announced the installation of a new executive board on Jan. 12 during the group’s monthly meeting at the Philadelphia Protestant Home. The group also recognized Lynn and Larry Genetti for their many years of service as PDAC leaders.
Lynn Genetti had served the previous 15 years as chairwoman, while Larry Genetti had been treasurer for the previous 20 years.
The new board members include Chairwoman Linda Costello, Vice Chair Carl Gerhart, Treasurer William Conaway, Recording Secretary Lynn Truszkowski and Public Relations Officer John J. Kline.
The Genettis were presented with awards from the police department, City Council, the Pennsylvania Senate and the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Capt. Thomas McLean and Community Relations Officer Mark Mroz of the 2nd district thanked the husband and wife for their contributions to the community. ••
