Springfield College Wilmington has named the following area students to the dean’s list for academic excellence for the fall 2015 term: Elizabeth Fumey and Selina Mack, who are both studying Human Services. Criteria for selection to the dean’s list are as follows: The student must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded coursework for the semester; the student must not have any incompletes or missing grades; the student must have a minimum semester grade point average of 3.500 for the semester; and the student must not have been barred from the dean’s list due to a disciplinary action.

Vanessa Puodziunas, a senior at Kent State University, was named to the fall 2015 dean’s list. Puodziunas is among nearly 8,300 undergraduate students who have earned this academic recognition. To qualify for this honor, undergraduate students must obtain a 3.400 GPA or higher while maintaining 12 or more credit hours in a semester.

More than 1,550 students were named to The University of Scranton dean’s list during the 2015 fall semester. A student must have had a grade point average of 3.5 or better. Local students are Noelle Niessen, a junior biology major; Kirsten Banach, a junior counseling and human services major; Madeline Chiardio, a junior occupational therapy major; Natalia Kucharska, a junior exercise science major; Julianne Mamrol, a senior nursing major; and Erik Rispo, a sophomore accounting major.

Members of The Citadel South Carolina Corps of Cadets earned top honors in the fall 2015 semester. Dean’s list recognition is given to cadets registered for 12 or more semester hours and whose grade point average is 3.2 or higher with no grade below a C for the previous semester’s work. Among the honorees was Luis Pena.

Kutztown University has conferred degrees on Maura Anne Drumm (Bachelor of Science of Business Administration-Marketing), Olya Dumyak (Bachelor of Science-Special Education Cum Laude), Darrelle Sherman (Bachelor of Science of Business Administration-Marketing); and Drakeira Antionette Siler (Bachelor of Science-Elementary Education/Pre K-4).

More than 1,500 students have been named to Millersville University’s dean’s list for the fall 2015 semester. Local honorees are Stephanie Bradley, Kaitlyn Connors, Brianna Dillon, Kristina Kinney, Kaitlyn Lanzetta, Julia Morgan-Agricoli, Sarah Pimble, John Schoenewald and Tyrone Smith.
