Bella is a beautiful, healthy, 70-pound girl who is at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. Her tag number is A30721711.

The dog is very gentle and friendly. She’s 3 to 5 years old and appears to be housetrained. She was surrendered when her family had a baby and decided there wasn’t room for her anymore. Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••

Oh brother! These boys are cute

Captain and Hobbes are brothers who love each other and can always be found together. They were abandoned by their mother in a barn after one week, and spent eight weeks in a house with numerous kids, dogs and cats. They are now in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue.

The cats entertain each other, and are extremely social. They wrestle with each other and the other cats and dogs in the home. They are bonded and need to find a home together. The 5-month-olds are neutered, current on vaccinations, and tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
