Composite sketch
An unidentified rapist with a heart tattoo on his chest and crooked front teeth may be on the loose in the Winchester Park area of the Northeast, according to Philadelphia police, who released a composite sketch of the suspect on Friday.
On March 9, a 22-year-old woman reported that she was walking westbound on the 2800 block of Rhawn St. at about 11:30 p.m. when an unknown man grabbed her from behind. The attacker covered her mouth and forced her into nearby woods, where he placed duct tape over her mouth and used handcuffs to bind her wrists to her ankles, police said. The man assaulted the victim sexually and physically, stole $100 from her, then fled.
The rapist was described as black, in his 30s, with a medium to light complexion, 6 feet tall, 250 to 300 pounds, with short and curly brown hair, a scruffy beard, light brown eyes, a heart tattoo with tribal symbols on his chest, crooked front teeth and a blue backpack. He wore a gray t-shirt and possibly gray jeans.
