Crockett and Jacob
Adopt this dog, for Pete’s sake
Pete got lost, and the nice folks at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave., used his identification to try to find his family, but they did not come for him.
The dog is hoping that a great new family is out there waiting for him. Pete is 1 to 2 years old. He is calm and likes to sit near people. Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Oh brother, these boys need a home
Crockett and Jacob are brothers who were found as young kittens during a trap-neuter-release job. Their mother was feral, so she was spayed and released.
The boys, in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue, are very cuddly and playful. They love to snuggle with their foster mom. They get along well with other cats, and they live with a small dog.
Crockett and Jacob, who are both 19 months old, are neutered and current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
