King is a 3- to 5-year-old, medium-sized pit bull mix who is at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. He is a very happy, affectionate boy who is very loving and sweet. He loves being pet and really enjoys companionship. He gets along with other dogs.
Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••

Sterling is an affectionate and playful young man who was found as a stray, but his finder was unable to keep him. He is in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue.
The cat enjoys attention and head scratches. Sterling, 2, is neutered and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
