Parked cars in Mayfair have tires slashed

Police are trying to identify a man who punctured tires on 11 parked vehicles in Mayfair late on May 30.

Several surveillance cameras recorded the suspect as he walked eastbound on Tyson Avenue at about 11 p.m. While passing several vehicles, the man appeared to stoop and jab at the tires with an unknown object. The vandalism was reported to police at about 5:20 the next morning. Police found damaged cars and trucks on the 2900, 3000 and 3400 blocks of Tyson.
