Ladies night: Four local high school students received scholarships from the Frankford-Northeast Philadelphia Rotary Club at its recent luncheon at the Ashburner Inn. Recipients were chosen for their academic excellence and commitment to service, a Rotary core value. The awardees were Hannah Porter, New Foundations Charter School; Sarah Tran, Abraham Lincoln High School; Nguyenanh Vuong, Abraham Lincoln High School; and Lauren Maenner, St. Hubert High School. The students received their awards from Paul Stadelberger, Rotary Club vice president and scholarship committee chairman.
