A motorist who witnesses saw speeding and driving erratically on Bustleton Avenue early Monday crashed into a wall and died, police said. Authorities have not released the man’s identity. He was in his 20s.
The crash occurred at about 1:40 a.m. on the 9100 block of Bustleton when the northbound 2004 Volvo S-60 veered into the southbound lane, flipped and became wedged between a retaining wall and a sidewalk tree, trapping the driver inside the vehicle with massive traumatic injuries.
Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene within minutes. ••
