Police are trying to identify an armed robber who used a stars and stripes bandana as a disguise when he held up a Wawa in Wissinoming on July 10.

At about 4:14 a.m. at 6001 Harbison Ave., the crook flashed a gun at a 19-year-old male clerk and demanded cash and cigarettes. He fled with an undisclosed amount of money and a carton of smokes. He was last seen northbound on Walker Street.

The robber was described as black, 25 to 35 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, thin, wearing a blue and white baseball cap with a brown logo, an American flag motif bandana over his face, a black T-shirt, black shorts and a white T-shirt draped around his neck.
