About 2,100 students earned their undergraduate, graduate or law degrees from Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York during ceremonies at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex. The local residents who graduated were Brianna Coyle and Parth Mehta, who each earned master’s of science in taxation.

Rose Pisacano has been named to the dean’s honor list at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York. The dean’s honor list recognizes students who attain a grade point average of 3.50 or better and have no grade below C. Pisacano studies Environmental Engineering.

Loyola University (Maryland) has announced the members of its dean’s list. In order to qualify for the dean’s list, a student must achieve a minimum GPA of at least 3.500 for the term and completed 15 credits. Robert Romano, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus in Teaneck, New Jersey, has been named to the dean’s list. To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must carry a 3.2 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).
