Man found fatally shot on Wissinoming street

Homicide detectives are seeking tips from the public about a fatal shooting early Monday at Keystone Street and Cheltenham Avenue in Wissinoming.

Police were called to the scene at 4:58 a.m. and found an unidentified man lying in the street with at least one gunshot wound of the head. He was black and appeared to be in his late 20s. Paramedics pronounced him dead at 5:06 a.m. A motive is not known.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 215–686–3334. In an emergency, call 911. There is a $20,000 reward in the case. ••
