Independence Mission Schools Board on Tap will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at St. Malachy School, 1012 W. Thompson St., the site of a Pope Francis mural.
The pop-up beer garden and nonprofit networking event seeks to enlist volunteers to serve on the Independence Mission Schools board.
St. Martin of Tours, 5701 Loretto Ave. in Oxford Circle, is a member of the IMS.
IMS is looking to recruit people who work in construction, legal, finance, fundraising or academia.
