Archbishop Ryan honors National Merit Scholars

Archbishop Ryan High School seniors Cara DiMarcantonio, Patrick Jurgelewicz and Kayla Smith have been named Commended Students in the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program.

They are among some 34,000 Commended Students across the country, having placed among the top 5 percent of more than 1.6 million students who entered the competition by taking a Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

School president Denise LePera and principal Joseph McFadden presented letters of commendation from Ryan and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. ••
