Artisan baker and author Michael Kalanty, a Somerton native and Holy Ghost Prep graduate now living in San Francisco, has written a book, How To Bake MORE Bread.
Kalanty will appear at Fante’s Kitchen Shop, 1006 S. 9th St. in the Italian Market in South Philadelphia, on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The author will meet people, answer questions and sign copies of his current book and his first book, How to Bake Bread.
The appearance will be the start of a two-week book tour.
