Authorities are deciding whether to throw the book at two grade-school kids who burglarized a Northeast charter school and made off with some spare change on Oct. 9.
The two youngsters’ parents brought them to the Northeast Detectives station after police released surveillance video of the break-in, which occurred at Philadelphia Academy Charter School, 11000 Roosevelt Blvd. Police have not disclosed information about the boy and girl.
According to Lt. Dennis Rosenbaum, the junior Bonnie and Clyde slipped into the school that afternoon through a window that had been left open. They made off with a bag of loose change that a teacher used to help pupils to learn counting. The burglars also stole some snacks.
The District Attorney’s Office is reviewing the case for possible sanctions against the juveniles. ••
