Tiffany Trump, daughter of Donald Trump, appeared on Wednesday at Philadelphia Republican Party headquarters, 3525 Cottman Ave.
Local party boss Joe DeFelice, 55th Ward Republican leader Chris Vogler and Republican Party of Pennsylvania Vice Chairwoman Joyce Haas were among those in attendance.
Trump, 23, graduated in May from the University of Pennsylvania, her father’s alma mater. She described Philadelphia as a vibrant city and Penn as the perfect school for her. She also declared her love for cheesesteaks and the Reading Terminal Market.
“I loved my time here,” she said.
Trump told supporters her dad is the best candidate for the job.
“He’s going to bring change to D.C.,” she said.
Trump believes Pennsylvania could be key to her dad winning the presidency.
“The power is in the people’s hands,” she said.
After her stop in the Northeast, Trump met supporters in Media, Malvern and Conshohocken. ••
