A new manicure wasn’t enough to satisfy a patron of a nail salon in Lawncrest on Oct. 24. She also wanted the cash in the register.
The unidentified woman got her nails done at Lawncrest Nail Salon, 6021 Rising Sun Ave., that afternoon. By 6 p.m., she was on her way out the door. But first, she opened the cash drawer and grabbed what police described as a “large sum of money.” Police did not disclose the amount.
The thief was last seen walking on Rising Sun Avenue in an unknown direction. She was described as black with a medium complexion, a tattoo on her right hand, maroon braided hair, a red jacket, a black shirt, blue jeans and brown boots.
