The organization received $5,000 to go toward financial aid.
BVM gets an A+: Jeff Gibson, development manager for Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools, and Frank Buzydlowski, Verizon’s director of state government affairs, present a $5,000 check to Maternity BVM principal Mary Zawisza and students. State Rep. Martina White was also in attendance. Buzydlowski is a 1968 BVM graduate and still lives in the parish. The money will go toward financial aid.
