An unidentified man wearing a white t-shirt wrapped around his head robbed a convenience store in Upper Holmesburg early Tuesday.
Police have released surveillance video of the hold-up, which occurred at about 12:05 a.m. at 7-Eleven, 9001 Frankford Ave., when the robber handed a demand note to a 20-year-old cashier. The message stated the robber had a gun.
The employee complied by placing the cash register drawer on the counter. The crook took an undisclosed amount of money and ran through the parking lot, then eastbound on Tolbut Street. He was described as white, 30 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 170 pounds, with a blue hoodie, tan pants, black shoes and a white t-shirt wrapped around his head.
