Academy Gardens native Joe Lowry knocked out Mike Pope to win the lightweight title.

Another Northeast fighter, Anton Berzin, became CFFC’s first light-heavyweight champion when he KO’d Jamelle Jones in the second round.

On the undercard, Cesar Balmaceda won by unanimous decision. Mike “The Cowboy” Wilcox, Bassil Hafez and Karl Roberson all won by first-round submissions.

In Next Generation bouts, winning by unanimous decision were James Fitzpatrick, Zac Haynes, Zulkaranain Kamchybekov and Sandra Chheng. ••
