Doctor honored at Nazareth Hospital

Dr. Lewis J. Rose was honored for exemplifying professionalism and treating his patients with respect.

Nazareth Hospital presented its prestigious Dr. Stanley J. Skromak Award to Dr. Lewis J. Rose at its annual Doctor’s Day celebration.

Named for one of Nazareth Hospital’s founding physicians in the 1960s, the award honors a physician who exemplifies professionalism, fosters medical education and shows courtesy and respect to patients and physicians.

Rose, a graduate of Harvard Medical School, serves as medical director of oncology at Nazareth Hospital. He joined the staff in 1984.

“Dr. Rose is dedicated to improving patient care and is committed to living our mission. We congratulate him for his achievement,” said Dr. Michael Magro Jr., vice president of medical affairs at Nazareth. ••
