Police hunt for special needs Frankford man

A Frankford man with autism left his home on July 3 and hasn’t been seen since, police say.

A Frankford man with autism left his home on July 3 and hasn’t been seen since, police say.

Detectives believe Marquis Martin, 24, of the 4100 block of Orchard Street, may have attempted to travel to Wilmington, Del. He left his home at about 7 p.m. wearing a red shirt, blue shorts, black Adidas sneakers and a backpack. He was carrying a lunch bag.

Police described him as six feet tall and thin, weighing about 180 pounds. He has brown eyes and short black hair. He has been diagnosed with autism, but is considered highly functional, police said.
