The next Lawncrest Community Association meeting will be held Aug. 15.
The recent Lawncrest Community Association meeting doubled as a town hall for state Rep. Isabella Fitzgerald (D-203rd dist.).
Among the agencies represented were the city Department of Revenue, the Community Life Improvement Program, the Water Department, the Police Department, the Liquor Control Board, Philadelphia Gas Works and the offices of City Councilwoman Cherelle Parker and U.S. Rep. Brendan Boyle.
Fitzgerald was in attendance, along with 2nd Police District community relations officer Mark Mroz and Larry Krasner, the Democratic candidate for district attorney.
Guests held a moment of silence for Tom Meo, Jimi Patrick, Mark Sturgis and Dean Finocchiaro, the four young men murdered recently on a Bucks County farm.
Bill Dolbow, the LCA’s longtime president, was re-elected, along with the rest of his team, without opposition.
Dolbow declared the Lawncrest July 4th Celebration a “complete success,” adding that all bills have been paid.
The Lawncrest Community Association will meet on Tuesday, Aug. 15, at 7 p.m. at St. William parish hall, Argyle and Robbins streets. ••
