Philadelphia police have released new surveillance video of the armed robbery of a Castor Gardens dollar store on Aug. 4.

Two unidentified robbers entered Grace Dollar at 6900 Bustleton Ave. at about 8 p.m. armed with a handgun, police said. One of the crooks pointed the gun at the cashier and demanded money. The gunman went behind the sales counter and took money from the cash register, police said, while the accomplice stood on the opposite side of the counter.

The robbers fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes, police said. They were last seen fleeing westbound on Longshore Avenue in a black SUV with a chrome front bumper or large headlights on the lower front portion of the grill.

Police described the gunman as a black man, about 20 years old, six feet tall and 200 pounds wearing a black Nike hat with a white swoosh logo, a white t-shirt and dark pants. The accomplice was described as Hispanic or black, about 20 years old, six feet tall and thin wearing a black cap with a green brim and old-style Eagles logos, a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
