Dining Car changes hours again

The restaurant will again be open around the clock, but only on certain days.

The Dining Car has changed it hours again.

Less than two weeks after ending 57 years of 24-hour service, the diner is now open around the clock on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

The diner is also now open an hour later Sundays through Wednesdays. The new hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Dining Car, at 8826 Frankford Ave. in Holmesburg, for decades would close only during snowstorms and at 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve. ••
