Philadelphia police have released new surveillance video in connection with two armed robberies of a Lower Mayfair delicatessen earlier this month.

The hold-ups occurred on Aug. 3 and 15 at Greenman’s Deli, 2900 Robbins Ave. In the earlier incident, a 49-year-old male employee was on duty just before 9 p.m. when an unknown man entered the store, brandished a handgun and demanded money. The robber obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in an unknown direction.

On Aug. 15, a gunman and two accomplices entered the store at about 12:30 p.m., stole an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes, and also stole the same employee’s gun. The robbers fled southbound on Brous Avenue.

Police did not release descriptions of the offenders. Call 215–686-TIPS or text to PPD TIP to report information. ••
