Surveillance footage was released in connection with robberies at Greenman’s Deli in Lower Mayfair.
Philadelphia police have released new surveillance video in connection with two armed robberies of a Lower Mayfair delicatessen earlier this month.
The hold-ups occurred on Aug. 3 and 15 at Greenman’s Deli, 2900 Robbins Ave. In the earlier incident, a 49-year-old male employee was on duty just before 9 p.m. when an unknown man entered the store, brandished a handgun and demanded money. The robber obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in an unknown direction.
On Aug. 15, a gunman and two accomplices entered the store at about 12:30 p.m., stole an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes, and also stole the same employee’s gun. The robbers fled southbound on Brous Avenue.
