Barnett replaces Denise LePera, who left to become Nazareth Academy High School’s first president in July.

Joanne Walls, the recently retired principal at St. Hubert, served as Ryan’s interim president this fall.

A former teacher, Barnett joins Ryan after spending the last five years as regional director of Bensalem-based Carousel Industries Inc., a telecommunications service provider.

Following his graduation from Ryan, he earned a degree in education from Millersville University. He is an active member of several alumni organizations supporting scholastics and athletics at Ryan and Millersville.

Barnett, his wife Lisa and their daughters are parishioners of St. Bede the Venerable Parish in Holland, Bucks County. ••
