Rev. Paul M. Kennedy, pastor at St. Katherine of Siena, was among nine priests to be named monsignors.

Pope Francis has named nine Archdiocese of Philadelphia priests, including the Rev. Paul M. Kennedy, pastor at St. Katherine of Siena, as monsignors.

Kennedy and the others will be honored during a Dec. 3 service at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.
Ordained in May 1977, Kennedy has been pastor at St. Katherine of Siena since 2005.
A 1969 graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School, he later served as principal and president at Dougherty. ••
