On Saturday, U.S. Rep. Brendan Boyle (D-13th dist.) opened a new office located at 8572 Bustleton Ave. in Bell’s Corner.
Boyle’s previous Northeast Philadelphia office was located at 2375 Woodward St., but he expressed the need for a new location.
“While it was a central location, the parking was a challenge.”
During Boyle’s tenure as a state representative, he had an office located on Bustleton Avenue, and he considered it to be an effective location for Northeast residents.
“Looking on Bustleton Ave. was natural, but we had to find the right location with parking.”
Boyle stated while he served in Pennsylvania’s House of Representatives, he was consistently in the top five of constituents serviced along with his brother, Kevin Boyle’s office.
“We would have a little competition to see who could help more constituents.”
With members of the community on Saturday, Boyle expressed his pleasure with the new location and the positive impact he believes it will have for his constituents.
“I couldn’t be happier that we’re finally here,” Boyle said. “We hope that for many years to come people will know that if they have an issue, come to Boyle’s office and we’re here to help.”
Boyle also has district offices located in Olney, Glenside and Norristown. ••
