Longtime Senate aide and ward leader Mike McAleer had a happy birthday.
A birthday bash: Senate Minority Leader Jay Costa last week hosted a luncheon in Harrisburg to celebrate the 80th birthday of longtime Senate aide and ward leader Mike McAleer. McAleer is Democratic leader of Ward 66-B and is an aide to Sen. John Sabatina Jr. He formerly worked for Sen. Mike Stack before he became lieutenant governor. McAleer’s family was in attendance, and Sabatina (right) and state Rep. Martina White presented him with citations.
