Lawndale celebrated Christmas at the third annual Roxanna’s Run event.
Santa Claus is coming to town: The third annual Roxanna’s Run took place on Sunday afternoon at Michael Crescenz VFW Post 2819, in Lawndale. The event is organized by Roxanna Gambino Schroeder and the HellRaisers Motorcycle Club. The day included food, refreshments, pictures with Santa Claus, gifts for each kid and remarks by City Councilman Al Taubenberger. Santa, more than a dozen HellRaisers and 100-plus wrapped presents arrived thanks to an escort from the Engine 64 fire truck and the 2nd and 15th police districts.
