Northeast residents celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day by helping their neighbors in need.
Helping hands: Residents at Paul’s Run (above) spent Martin Luther King Jr. Day preparing food and snack bags for two different causes. They made sandwiches that were donated to St. Francis Inn, a soup kitchen for the homeless located in Kensington. They also prepared snack bags for Jane Addams Place, part of Lutheran Settlement house.
