Police are investigating a double homicide after two women were found dead in their Castor Gardens home Monday night.
In a news conference Tuesday, police said they are still investigating the incident but they have a suspect in questioning and a believed murder weapon. They have not released any names.
Police were called to the home on the 1200 block of Greeby Street via a 911 call reporting gunshots at approximately 11:30 p.m. The man who answered the door and let police inside is the one who is being questioned.
The victims, who police said were a mother and daughter, were 66 and 44 years old. The mother was in a wheelchair.
They believe no one else entered the home between the murder and when the police arrived.
Police will release more information as the investigation continues. ••
