Police are looking for the man who pulled a knife on an employee and stole money from the cash register last month.
Police have released surveillance footage of a man who stole money from a convenience store after pulling a knife on the employee.
The man entered the La Pablanida Store located at 6711 Castor Ave. on Jan. 17 at 9:30 p.m. He approached the counter and asked for a box of cigarettes. As the employee complied, the man pulled a knife and demanded money from the register.
The crook grabbed money from the open register and fled south on Castor Avenue.
Police describe the man as standing between 5 feet 10 and 6 feet tall with a brown beard and moustache. He was wearing a black coat with a furry hood around his head with a black baseball hat, light blue jeans and red sneakers with black soles.
Police say he was coughing and making noises with his nose.
