Smoking cessation classes at Nazareth

Nazareth Hospital will offer free classes every Wednesday through May.

Nazareth Hospital will offer another series of free smoking and tobacco cessation classes this spring for individuals looking to quit smoking cigarettes, cigars, pipes and/or smokeless tobacco use.

Classes include understanding addiction, behavior change strategies, coping mechanisms for urges and stress, education on healthy lifestyle choices, access to resources for nicotine replacement therapy, and relapse prevention.

The classes will take place on Wednesdays from March 21 to May 2, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Nazareth’s first floor cancer center conference room, 2601 Holme Ave.

Registration for the program is required. To register, call 215–335–7727. ••
