Pets of the Week: April 25, 2018

Thaddeus and Raya are looking for homes.

Thaddeus is a sweet pit bull/terrier mix who looks like he’s had a rough life.

Yet, he is the happiest, wiggliest angel. He was a stray who is now at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. His tag number is A37981780.

Thaddeus is about 3 to 5 years old. He knows the “sit” command and likes to wiggle his ears. He wants someone to shower him with love.

Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••

Raya came to Northeast Animal Rescue with a broken pelvis. After a lot of rest, he is healed and was finally able to be a normal kitten. He loves playing with fuzzy mice and running around with his housemates. He is sweet and loving, but is a little shy upon meeting new people.

Raya, 14 months old, is neutered and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.
