See who will perform.
The first portion of the lineup for the 57th annual Philadelphia Folk Festival has been announced.
The festival will take place from Aug. 16–19 at the Old Pool Farm, in Upper Salford Township, near Schwenksville, Montgomery County.
There will be an opening-night camping exclusive concert with Gina Chavez-Talisk and Toronzo Cannon.
The Aug. 17 lineup will be highlighted by Patty Griffin, the David Bromberg Quintet and Riders in the Sky.
On Aug. 18, the lineup will feature Valerie June, Chris Smither, Eileen Ivers and Balsam Range.
The final day will include Wynonna & The Big Noise, Shovels & Rope and Jeff Daniels and the Ben Daniels Band.
Other performers will be Alexis P. Suter Ministers of Sound, Beausoleil Avec Michael Doucet, Christine Lavin, David Myles, Joe Crookston, John Gorka, Martha Red Bone Roots Project, Mary Gauthier, Molly Tuttle, The Seldom Scene, Skerryvore, The Slambovian Circus of Dreams, Tom Paxton and the DonJuans, Trout Fishing in America, William Prince and Gene Shay.
Also performing will be The Accidentals, Alash, The Black Feathers, Benjamin Dakota Rogers, Chastity Brown, Crys Matthews, Earle & Coffin, Elage Diouf, Hermitage Green, Honey Island Swamp Band, Jay Gilday, Lula Wiles, Making Movies, Matthew Byrne, Missy Raines & The New Hip, Melanie Brulee, Richie & Rosie, The Small Glories, Terence Jack and Vanessa Collier.
