Single lane closures on Roosevelt Boulevard through May

Lanes will be closed to install Americans with Disabilities Act curbĀ ramps.

Roosevelt Boulevard motorists will encounter single lane closures in the inner and outer lanes at the Grant Avenue and Red Lion Road intersections, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through the end of May, for Americans with Disabilities Act curb ramp installations.

In addition, periodic right lane closures are planned on Grant Avenue and Red Lion Road at the Boulevard.

The work is part of the cityā€™s Boulevard Direct project, which included construction of new bus shelters, plazas and sidewalks along the U.S. 1 corridor at the intersections of Cottman Avenue, Rhawn Street, Welsh Road, Grant Avenue and Red LionĀ Road.

A.P. Construction Inc., of Blackwood, New Jersey, is the general contractor on the $2,444,263 million project, which is financed with federal and localĀ funds.
