Police say the victim believes his credit information may have been compromised at a Somerton Wawa.
Police are investigating a case of credit fraud that the victim believes may have started at the Wawa at 10901 Bustleton Ave.
The victim, a 44-year-old man, noticed numerous charges on his credit card bill that he hadn’t authorized on May 17. The charges totaled $360 at two different Wawa locations.
According to police, the victim believes his card information may have been compromised at a gas pump at the Somerton Wawa location on May 7.
The use of ATM skimming devices isn't going to show down any time soon. Before you insert your card, be sure to give the card reader an extra look.
