Police say the victim believes his credit information may have been compromised at a Somerton Wawa.

Police are investigating a case of credit fraud that the victim believes may have started at the Wawa at 10901 Bustleton Ave.

The victim, a 44-year-old man, noticed numerous charges on his credit card bill that he hadn’t authorized on May 17. The charges totaled $360 at two different Wawa locations.

According to police, the victim believes his card information may have been compromised at a gas pump at the Somerton Wawa location on May 7.

The charges include two for $40 each at a Wawa store at 1701 Arch St. at 8:28 p.m., and seven charges totaling $280 at a Wawa store at 1900 Market St. at 8:45 p.m., both on May 16.

Detectives were able to obtain a photo from the Wawa store in the 9th Police District.
