The state Public Utility Commission will hold a hearing to gather public input on a rate increase request filed by PECO Energy on Thursday, June 14, at 6 p.m. at Kingdom Life Christian Center, 6325 Frankford Ave.
Under the request submitted by PECO, the average total monthly bill for a residential customer using 700 kilowatt hours would increase from $102.65 to $105.93 per month (3.2 percent).
Members of the public are welcome to attend the hearings and provide comments. Their testimony will become part of the record on which the PUC will issue its final decision. ••
