The Northeast Times highlights two local animals looking for their forever homes.
Lebron needs new teammates
After he receives a few treats, Lebron opens up and shows his silly, playful and affectionate side. He is at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave.
Lebron loves to zoom around the yard, chase after toys and roll around in the grass. He loves getting in the water and cooling down after his crazy romps.
Lebron is about a year old and is looking for a fun and active family of his own.
Hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••
Kaia searching for snuggle buddy
Not too long ago, Kaia was roaming the streets, trying to be a good mom to her babies. They were rescued, and Kaia is with Northeast Animal Rescue.
Kaia’s favorite activity is hanging out with her human friends. She loves being by her foster family’s side. She would prefer to be the only pet in her new home.
Kaia, 2, is spayed and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.
