Rotary honors Judge graduate with Service Above Self Award

Frankford Northeast Philadelphia Rotary Club honored a resident for his dedication to the community.

Frankford Northeast Philadelphia Rotary Club recently presented the Rotary Service Above Self Award to Father Judge graduating senior Ryan Baumgarten.

A graduate of St. Matthew Elementary School, Baumgarten had a 3.97 GPA at Judge. He has been accepted to Jefferson University, and hopes to continue in medical school at Jefferson. His mother, Teri, is a medical-surgical nurse at Einstein.

Baumgarten has tutored peers, coached younger athletes, represented Judge at open houses, assisted staff and participated in honor society activities.

The Rotary Club meets for lunch at Maggie’s Waterfront Cafe at noon on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. ••
